Dedicated to Helping People Heal

If you're struggling with the expectations and demands of everyday life, it might be time to consider some extra support.

Helping You Feel Better

Every Day

Meet Your Therapist

My name is Ericka Jobe. I graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Newman University. Prior to earning my graduate degree, I worked within the social services field for more than 10 years, predominantly with children and families.

I have a background in case management and providing therapy services to children placed in the foster care system. In addition, I've served in supervisory positions within the child welfare system; both as an adoption program manager and a foster care supervisor.

I also have experience providing individual and group therapy services to clients with personality disorder diagnoses working as a clinician in a maximum-security prison. I have received extensive training from Dr. Gregory Lester, a world-renowned expert in research and treatment of personality disorder diagnoses, and I have completed the training requirements to become a Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Professional.

My clinical practicum was served at the COMCARE Crisis Center, where I provided therapy services for uninsured clients. This experience grew my passion for working with underserved and marginalized populations. While I take pride in having many years of experience working with children from hard places, who have had significant trauma in their lives, my specialty area has grown into working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. Specifically, about 90% of my clients identify as transgender, non-binary, or gender fluid. I am extremely fortunate to be able to work with this population of people, and be allowed to be a safe, affirming space for them. I'm open to, and excited about, working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and concerns, however I was drawn to the LGTBQ+ community when I realized the unfortunate lack of affirming therapy providers in Kansas. I am a proud member of the World Profession Association for Transgender Health and the Wichita LGBT+ Health Coalition.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults. I offer therapy services to individuals, couples, and families using a wide variety of treatment techniques. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment where you will feel heard and supported. I offer free consultations so that we can discuss your unique situation, expectations, and any concerns you may have. I want to answer any questions you have, so you can feel that you've found a therapist that's going to be a good fit for you and feel at ease moving forward in the therapy process.
